What CBRC is all about

Our Club goals are:

To promote and encourage participation of our sport through instruction, competition, and social activities, and

To develop the sport of rowing in the wider community.

Some of the many benefits provided by being a member of CBRC are...

Great social events on the water and off the water,
Instruction days for all levels of rowing from absolute beginners to expert/masters,
Learn-to-row courses are run through the club for members to get themselves, friends, and family into the sport,
Competitive events including State, National and International competitions,
Affiliation to Rowing WA, the state's rowing body and Rowing Australia, and
Representation on the Rowing WA Committee.

The Canning Bridge Rowing Club (CBRC) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation run by members for members. Our club is principally a community based rowing club, focused on being inclusive to all those interested in getting on the water.

Most of our members have joined our club through following their participation in one of our Learn to Row courses.

CBRC Rowers come from all walks of life and all shapes and sizes. If you have some rowing experience, you can join any time, but if you are new to the sport, the best option is to take part in one of our Learn to Row courses.
